GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The MT3608 is a constant frequency, 6-pinSOT23 current mode step-upconverterintended for small, low power applications. TheMT3608 switches at 1.2MHz andallowstheuse of tiny, low cost capacitors andinductors2mm or less in height. Internal soft-start resultsin small inrush current and extends batterylife. The MT3608 features automatic shiftingtopulse frequency modulation mode at light loads.The MT3608 includes under-voltagelockout,current limiting, and thermal overloadprotection to prevent damage in theevent of anoutput overload. The MT3608 is availableinasmall 6-pin SOT-23 package.
